the will of an eccentric millionaire reads as follows: "i leave 4/17 of my estate to my son, 7/13 of the remainder to my wife, 2/3 of this remainder to my daughter, and the remaining $2million to my dog." what was the total amount of the estate? please answer and show step by step how you got it!!

Let estate value = x,

then son gets 4/17x, wife gets 7/13(1-4/17)x and daughter gets (2/3)(6/13)(1-4/17)x.

x - son - wife - daughter = 2,000,000
