They captured 46 towns, by consolidating ramps to bring up battering rams, by infantry attacks, breaches and siege engines.

He divided it into provinces and assigned satraps to govern them.The empire was divided into satraps, ruled by governors. Those governors were chosen both for ability and for their loyalty. They held immense power in their own satraps, so Darius and other Persian kings had to be careful of revolt.

Confucius believe that social order, harmony, & good government could be restored in China if society were organized around five basic relationships between: ruler & subject, father & son, husband & wife, older brother & younger brother, and friend & friend.
