1/3 = 2/6
2/5=?/10 Thanks Ms.Sue can u please explain how to answer fractions like this? How did u get the answer?
To change to equivalent fractions, multiply the numerator and denominator by the same number.
1/3 = 2/6 = 3/9 = 4/12 and so on
2/5 = ?/10
Since 5 * 2 = 10, then we multiply the numerator by 2. 2 * 2 = 4
2/5 = 4/10
thank u so much ms.sue.
You're very welcome, Yariah.
