**Yariah**, Monday, January 7, 2013 at 8:51pm2/5=?/10 Thanks Ms.Sue can u please explain how to answer fractions like this? How did u get the answer?

**Ms. Sue**, Monday, January 7, 2013 at 8:58pmTo change to equivalent fractions, multiply the numerator and denominator by the same number.

1/3 = 2/6 = 3/9 = 4/12 and so on

2/5 = ?/10

Since 5 * 2 = 10, then we multiply the numerator by 2. 2 * 2 = 4

2/5 = 4/10
