**Reiny**, Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 10:30pmoriginal:

y = ln(x+1) + 1

inverse:

x = ln(y+1) + 1

solving for y .....

x-1 = ln(y+1)

y+1 = e^(x-1 , by definition

y = e^(x-1) - 1 <----- your inverse
