**drwls**, Friday, December 28, 2012 at 2:41am4a^2 + 25 = –20a

4a^2 + 20a + 25 = 0

(2a +5)^2 = 0

a = -5/2

13x^2 + 35x + 21 = –12x^2 – 25x – 15

25x^2 + 60x +36 = 0

(5a +6)^2 = 0

a = -6/5

You do the verifying.
