Gemma has to complete her chores for the week. She must finish 10 hours of chores to receive her allowance. She can work on landscaping for 2 to 8 hours. She can also do laundry for 4 to 6 hours. Determine the graph that correctly represents this system of inequalities.

PLEASE HELP! At least help me set up an equation and I'll understand.

call the two chores x and y

x+y = 10
2 <= x <= 8
4 <= y <= 6

since y is between 4 and 6, x is between 6 and 4.

assuming whole hours, (4,6),(5,5),(6,4) are the solutions.

If x+y >= 10, then other values become possible.
