two solids of right cylendrical shape are 49 cm and 35 cm high and thier base diameters are 16 cm,14 cm respectively.Both are melted and moulded into a single cylinder,56cmhigh find its base diameter

pi r^2 h = pi D^2 h/4 = volume

pi * 16^2 * 49/4 + pi * 14^2 * 35/4 = pi d^2 * 56/4

pi/4 cancels

49 * 256 + 35 * 196 = 56 d^2
