Homework Help: Math - 8th grade

Express 18 million in scientific notation.
I answered 1.8 x 10 to the 7th and was wrong. I don't understand why? You are supposed to move the decimal 7 places to get 18 million. What did I do wrong? Thank You.

18 million
= 18,000,000
= 1.8 x 10^7

You were right, whoever marked it wrong, is wrong!
