3x^2 - 49 = 0.
3x^2 = 49
x^2 = 49/3
Take sqrt of both sides:
X = 7/sqrt3
Multiply denominator and numerator by
sqrt3:
X = 7sqrt3/(sqrt3)(sqrt3)
X = 7*sqrt3 / 3 = +- 4.04.
Note: sqrt means Square root.
X = 4.04.
