a computer store sold a total of 300 items last month. the store sold six times as amny hard drives as they did CD-ROM drives, andhalf as many floppy drives as hard drives. based on this information, how many of each items were sold

Let x = hard drives, then 6x = CD-ROMs and .5x = floppy drives.

x + 6x + .5x = 300

Solve for hard drives, x, then the others.
