a computer store sold a total of 300 items last month. the store sold six times as amny hard drives as they did CDROM drives, andhalf as many floppy drives as hard drives. based on this information, how many of each items were sold

Let x = hard drives, then 6x = CDROMs and .5x = floppy drives.
x + 6x + .5x = 300
Solve for hard drives, x, then the others.
