The answer is simple:
7:35 plus 1 hour = 8:35 plus 1 hour = 9:35 plus 1 hour = 10:35
At 10:35, adding an hour wouldn't make sense as we would get 11:35...and we want 11:15. So, we ask the question how many minutes until 11:00?
It is 60 (minutes in 1 hour) - 35 (how many minutes have already passed)= 25 minutes
So 10:35 + 25 minutes = 11:00
Now just add 15 minutes = 11:15
Then total all of the additions that were made:
1 hour + 1 hour + 1 hour + 25 minutes + 15 minutes = 3 hours 40 minutes
