Patsy has cheerleading practice on every fourth school day. She wants to be in the school play, but they have practice on every sixth school day. If both started on September 5th, what would be the first date that she has to choose between cheerleading and play practice?

I have no idea what to do or where to start? I have no help but you guys. Please help?

Omg I hate math that ,made no sense

Can somebody please make it more clear im Stressing out

what's the smallest number divisible by both 4 and 6?

12

But that does not solve the problem. What is the date 12 school days after Sept.5?

12 school days is 2 weeks + 2 days. So, if 9/5 is M-W, you will only have two weekends to count. If it's Thu or Fri, you have a 3rd weekend to include.

And what about Labor Day?

2020 isnt the best year are u from connection academy

this is a bruh moment is wrong when it comes to the play practice days. he/she added 5 each time instead of six.

so the answer is 17

She will have to choose only one on the 25th.

Cheer leading days are:5, 9, 13, 17, 21, and 25th
Play practice days are:5, 10,15,20, an 25th
Both activities take place on the 25th, therefore, the 25th of November is your answer
on cheerleading days the number increases by 4 and on play days the number increases by 6 every time
