ms. sue i want to be clear on two more questions.

about this man sitting on the step with suitcase, that be because he be leaving somewhere, but i not get why he be mentioned? to escape from bad neighbourhood?

also i not get what recrimination mean. to describe their marriage i not know what to say. that wife love him a lot, but she get mad and angry at him also?

also there just be the color black used in the story? i not find any other colors.He just describe everything dark.

Recrimination means blame. She blames him and wants him to feel guilty about the things she thinks are wrong with him.

I'm not sure about this -- but I think the man with the suitcase means he is leaving to escape this neighborhood.

Black is the color of sadness and bad things.

It sounds like he's depressed and feels that he can't do anything right.
