A toy is in the shape of a right circular cylinder with hemisphere on one end and a cone on the other . The height and radius of the cylindrical part are 13 cm and 5 cm respectively. The radius of the hemispherical and conical parts are the same as that of the cylindrical part. Calculate the surface area of the toy if the height of the conical point is 12 cm

    hemisphere: a = 2pi r^2
    cone: a = pi r s
    cylinder: a = pi r^2 h

    total area:

    2 pi * 5^2 + pi * 5 * 13 + pi * 5^2 * 13 = 440pi

    only used in determining the slant height (s) of the cone. 5^2+12^2 = 13^2
