a class consists of 24 boys and 16 girls.the average weight of the class is 41.7 kg,and the average weight of the boys is 41.1 kg.Find the average weight of the girls.

24*41.1 + 16g = (24+16)*41.7
g = 42.6

Mean boys = 41.1 = ∑x/n = ∑x/24

∑x = 986.4

Mean class = 41.7 = ∑y/40

∑y = 1,668

Mean girls = (1668-986.4)/16 = ?
