Homework Help: sound and hearing

An excited child in a campground lets out a yell. Her parent, 1.31 m away, hears it as a 89.3-dB sound. A climber sits 701 m away from the child, on top of a nearby mountain. How loud does the yell sound to the climber? (in dB) A: 34.731 dB
