**Steve**, Friday, November 16, 2012 at 12:20amyou can work with inequalities just like equations. Add and subtract from both sides. Change direction when multiplying by negative value.

m - 7 < 6

add 7 to both sides

m < 13

n - 8 > 5

add 8 to both sides

n > 13

p + 5 < 10

subtract 5 from both sides

p < 5

since the bus holds at most 35, so there are 20 students and t teachers,

t+20 <= 35

t <= 15
