Homework Help: 7th grade

The story that I read for school (At Her Father's And Her Mother's Place) takes place in 1923 in Russia. What was life like during that time in terms of the politics and economics in Russia?

I think it would be much easier to make a list of the things you'd take on a trip. Then compare that with what you think the character would take.
