A local animal shelter houses only cats and dogs. This week of all the baby animals, there are 16 kittens and 7 puppies. What is the ratio of kittens to all the baby animals?
16 to 23?

A box contains three types of fruits: apples bananas and pears. There are 20 pieces o f fruit in all. Of these, 3 are apples and 11 are bananas. What is the ratio of pears to bananas?
6 to 11?
