find the intercept of the equation
(x+6)^2(x-1)^2 does this crosses the x axis the smaller or touches the x axis or does it touch at the larger x intercept or crosses the larger

y is never negative

since y=0 at x=-6 and x=1, it touches the x-axis there, but does not cross it.

the graph just touches the x-axis at roots of even multiplicity, since it does not change sign there.
