Homework Help: science- geology

I have to draw a topographical map on poster board of an imaginary island. It must have 2 mountains, 12 MI apart, one with a benchmark of 1510 ft and the other of 1075 ft. We must include 2 streams, one that flows down the larger lake into the ocean, the other must flow in and out of a lake- and we must use the "rule of V". We're using a contour interval of 100', and can leave no more than 1" between contours. I don't even know where to begin! Please help!

Start by drawing the outline of your island. Then place the tops of the mountains and the lakes.
