Toronto and Vancouver are 3150km apart. A plane cruises at about 850km/hour. At this rate about how long (in hours and minutes) will it take to fly to Vancouver from Toronto?

If he left Vancouver at 10:00 am and Toronto is 4 hours ahead of Vancouver what time would it be in Toronto when the plane landed?

3150/850 = 3.70588

The flight will take about 3.7 hours.

When it's 10 a.m. in Vancouver, it's 2 p.m. in Toronto.

1 hour = 60 minutes

0.7 * 60 = 42 minutes

The flight takes 3 hours, 42 minutes.
