y = x(x+12)

so the x-intercepts are 0 and -12

and the x of the vertex must be halfway between those intercepts

x of vertex is -6

then y = 36 - 6(12) = -36

vertex is ((-6,-36), opens up, and has x-intercepts of 0 and -12

domain: obviously any value of x

range: y ≥-36
