1). 3y=11-2x
2). 3x=y-11
Using equation 1: y = (11-2x)/3
Substituting into equation 2
3x = (11-2x)/3 - 11
x = (11 -2x)/9 - 11/3
x + 2x/9 = 11/9 - 11/3
11x/9 = 11/9 - 11/3
solve for x
Then plug x into either equation 1 or 2, and solve for y
