You need to hire a part-time associate to work 30 hours a week in your store. You have $250 in labor budget for the new associate each week. You just interviewed an excellent candidate for the position who has requested to be paid $9.00 per hour. Your average part-time associate currently makes $8.26 per hour. How much additional labor budget per week would you need in order to hire the candidate you interviewed at the rate that has been requested?
