1/5 and 2/3 fond the common denominator of 15 so it would change 1/5 to 3/15 and 2/3 to 10/15 you add the 3/15 and 10/15 and that equals 13/15 subtract 13/15 from 15/15 or 1 and the answer is 2/15.
