Homework Help: physics..help PLZ!!

An object undergoes a displacement while being acted on by a constant force directed to the north. The work done on this object by the force is positive during the displacement. Which statement is necessarily true about the average velocity of the object during the displacement?
A.The average velocity is zero.
B.The average velocity is toward the south.
C.The average velocity is toward the north.
D.The average velocity has a component toward the north.
E.The average velocity has a component toward the south.

...I think it's either C or D...?
