The reflection of the tree in the lake is 49 in long. If your shadow in the lake is 14 in long and you are 5 ft, how tall is the tree? Put your answer as inches.

h/49 = 5/14

h = 17.5 feet

multiply by 12 to get inches.

Kind of stupid, in my opinion, since your height was given in feet, the tree's height should also be expressed as feet.
