Kevin ran 4 more miles than Steve ran. The sum of their distances is 26 miles. How far did Steve run? Set up a variable equation to represent this situation before solving. The domain of the solution is {0, 4, 11, 22}

k+s = 26

(s+4) + s = 26
2s + 4 = 26
2s = 22
s = 11
