This problem from China is almost 2000 years old: Find a number that when divided by 3 gives a remainder of 1, when divided by 5 gives a remainder of 4, and when divided by 7 gives a remainder of 2.

divided by 3 gives a remainder of 1 :
4 7 10 13 16 19 22 25 28 31 34 37 40 43 46 49 ...
when divided by 5 gives a remainder of 4 :
4 9 14 19 24 29 34 39 43 49 53 59 ...
when divided by 7 gives a remainder of 2 :
2 9 16 23 30 37 44 51 58 ...
nothing yet, so keep going
40.43/3
