13. Write a translation rule that maps point D(7, –3) onto point D'(2, 5).
14. Triangle ABC has coordinates A(1, 4); B(3, –2); and C(4, 2). Find the coordinates of the image A'B'C' after a reflection over the xaxis

13. rule is (x,y)arrow pointing to the right (x5,y+8)...each point has moved  the x# moved 5 units to the left and the y # moved 8 units up...thus x5 and y+8

Nona, I go to connections academy. Lol

I think for fourteen you could write down a four quadrant graph and then all you have to do is translate each point and connect the dots. Its much easier to figure it out when you have it right in front of you. Hope that helped.

The new coordinates are
A(1, 4) B(3,2) and C(4,2). So since it's reflecting over the X axis you keep the X coordinates the same and the Y coordinates change. If the number is negative you make it a positive, if it's positive you make it a negative
