in track practice jesse ran a mile in 7 minutes. his mile time was 2.5 times faster than michaels time. write and solve an equation to calculate michaels mile time.

Jessie time 7 minute
Michael’s time is 2.5 times slower
Divide 7 minutes by 2.5 to get answer
Jesse = 7
Michael = 2.5 X
7 = 2.5 X
7/2.5 X = 17.5 to check answer divide 17.5 by the 2.5, your answer is 7.
