How does one tell/determine if a confidence interval is too wide? What indicates too wide?

Thanks in advance!

**PsyDAG**, Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 1:10pmThe smaller the confidence interval, the more accurate your estimate is. One way to decrease your confidence interval is to use a larger sample. "Too wide" is a judgement call.
