what is an equation of the line in point slope form that passes through the given point and has a given slope.(8,-8);slope 3. caon someone explain

having slope 3 means that for every point (x,y) on the line, measuring from (8,-8), the change in y over the change in x is 3.

in algebra, that means

(y-(-8))/(x-8) = 3

or

y+8 = 3(x-8)
