1. Which exponent makes the statement true? 1/5^9 = 5^?

2. y^5 x y^14 =
3. w^12/w^18 =
5. 5^5/5^2 =
Please help me this is all like greek too me. My teacher taught me how and i still don't get it.

2. y^6 x y^14 = y^20
when multiplying powers with the same base, keep the base and add the exponents
3. w^12 / w^18 = w^-6
when dividing powers with the same base, keep the base and subtract the exponents
