If m is the number of minutes a taxi ride lasts, then 2 + 0.35m can be used to find the cost of a taxi ride with Bill's Taxi Company.

How much will it cost for a 12-min taxi ride?

I don't understand how to calculate this, thank you!

2 + 0.35 * 12 = 2 + 4.2 = 6.2
