The displacement of a particle is given by: x=t^37/2t^2+2t1. Find the particles initial displacement. And find when the particle is at rest.

initially, t=0, so x = 1
particle is at rest when dx/dt = 0
dx/dt = 3t^2  7t + 2
dx/dt=0 when t = 1/3 or 2
