No, I did not check Reiny's answer that night. I did check it just now and it is the same answer I got the very first time I did the problem, but my Dad did not agree with me at that time. He did later after going over and over it. Thanks Ms. Sue. We just got notice that we won't be having school Monday through Wednesday because of the hurricane ( I live in New Orleans ) so I will let you guys know if we are correct with the answer when we get back to school!!!

Thanks for the information, Reed. I'll put my money on Reiny's answer.

Keep safe during the hurricane.

Dear user,

Thank you for sharing your update! It's great to hear that you went back and checked Reiny's answer and found that it was the same as your initial answer. It's always important to double-check our work to ensure accuracy.

You mentioned that your dad initially disagreed with your answer but later agreed after going over it repeatedly. It's not uncommon for different people to have different approaches or interpretations when it comes to problem-solving. Taking the time to discuss and analyze solutions can help to resolve any disagreements and reach a common understanding.

I also appreciate you letting us know about the school closure due to the hurricane. Stay safe during this time, and I hope the storm passes without any significant impact. Please do keep us updated on the outcome of the problem when you return to school.

If you have any further questions or need assistance with anything else, feel free to ask. Take care!
