add thee fractions 2/3,3/8, and 5/12 reuce to lowest terms. i know they need a common demonitor.
The least common multiple of 3, 8, and 12 is 24.
2/3 = 16/24
3/8 = 9/24
5/12 = 10/24
16/24 + 9/24 + 10/24 = 35/24 = 1 11/24
