-Solve Polynomial Equations By factoring.

1. x^6-25x^4=0

2. y^3-3y^2=16y-48

3. x^3+2x^2-9x-18=0

4. x^3+x^2-4x-4=0

5. x^3-7x^2=-5x-30

6. a^4+2a^3+a^2=0

7. 3n^4-4n^2=-1

8. 8x^5+10x^4=4x^3+5x^2

9. 2n^4-9n^2+4=0

10. 8y^4 - 4y^2 =0

1. x^6 - 25x^4 = 0.
x^4(x^2-25) = 0
x^4(x+5)(x-5) = 0.
x+5 = 0
X = -5.
x-5 = 0
X = 5.

Solution set: X = -5,and X = 5.

2. y^3 - 3y^2 = 16y-48.
y^3 - 3y^2 - 16y + 48 = 0
(y^3-3y^2) - (16y-48) = 0
y^2(y-3) - 16(y-3) = 0
(y-3)(y^2-16) = 0
(y-3)(y+4(y-4) = 0
Solution set: Y = 3,-4, and 4.

3. x^3 + 2x^2 - 9x - 18 = 0.
(x^3+2x^2) - (9x+18) = 0
x^2(x+2) - 9(x+2) = 0
(x+2)(x^2-9) = 0
(x+2)(x+3)(x-3) = 0.
Solution set: X = -2,-3, and 3.

The remaining problems are very similar
to the previous three.
