Most solids float if their density is less than that of the fluid. Therefore, the 0.67 piece of wood will float and the other one will sink.
Note: the reason I said "most" above, is that ships, which are made of steel, float and we know that the density of iron is much greater than that of water. The reason the ship floats is that it is constructed to displace enough water to make up for the much higher density of steel.
