Just because the directions say to use the Subjunctive, it does NOT mean to use it everywhere! Your first statement is FACT and therefor there is no Subjunctive!
hay muchas, etc.
The 2nd sentence says what you DO believe? Creo que hay tres cuestiones, etc.

Los tres cuestiones principales SON:

Let's STOP right here and review the reasons to use the Subjunctive:

1. after a main verb of wishing, hoping, imposition of will, what "may" be.
2. after a main verb of emotion.
3. after a verb clause expressing doubt, disbelief, denial
4. after certain conjunctions of time: sin que / con tal de que / antes de que / a menos que / para que
5. After other conjunctions whenn uncertainty, doubt, anticipataion or indefiniteness is implied.
6. adjective clauses if the antecedent is indefinite or negative.

What level Spanish are you in? Usually in Level III you study the Subjunctive. Have you gotten to "si clauses" with the Past Subjunctive? Depending upon your textbook, review the uses of the Subjunctive FIRST and then try your essay again.

Thanks for your input! I have made corrections and can you please verify if I have followed the rules correctly?
Thanks!

There are more mistakes but you can see with these corrections what kind of mistakes you made.

To verify if you have followed the rules correctly, let's review the uses of the subjunctive:

1. After a main verb of wishing, hoping, imposition of will, what "may" be.
In your second sentence, "Creo que hay tres cuestiones principales" (I believe there are three main issues), you are stating a belief or opinion, so there is no need for the subjunctive.

2. After a main verb of emotion.
In your fourth sentence, "Crea que deba haber más control de armas" (I believe there should be more gun control), you are expressing a belief, so the subjunctive "deba" is used correctly.

3. After a verb clause expressing doubt, disbelief, denial.
In your fifth sentence, "También creo que los violadores de control de armas deba ser severamente sancionado" (I also believe that violators of gun control should be severely punished), you are expressing doubt or disbelief, so the subjunctive "deba" is used correctly.

4. After certain conjunctions of time: sin que / con tal de que / antes de que / a menos que / para que.
There are no sentences in your text that use these conjunctions, so this rule does not apply here.

5. After other conjunctions when uncertainty, doubt, anticipation, or indefiniteness is implied.
In your last sentence, "En addition a los asuntos internos de las Naciones Unidas se enfrentan a los Estados Unidos, creo que los Estados Unidos debería ayudar a traer la paz al mundo" (In addition to the internal issues the United Nations is facing, I believe that the United States should help bring peace to the world), you are expressing uncertainty or anticipation, so the subjunctive "deba" could be used instead of "debería."

6. Adjective clauses if the antecedent is indefinite or negative.
There are no adjective clauses in your text, so this rule does not apply here.

Overall, you have correctly used the subjunctive in some sentences but have used the indicative form in others. It's important to review the specific rules for each use of the subjunctive and apply them consistently throughout your writing. Keep practicing and seeking feedback to improve your grasp of the subjunctive tense. Good luck!
