Let me know if you still have questions.

so if i was to qualify a topic in the article, in this case would i be saying why i couldn't say that i agreed or disagreed

  • English 11 - ,

In a way, yes ... by describing exactly why ... explaining/describing what it is about each of the main points that makes you agree or disagree.

And I imagine that you need to write an all-agreeing or an all-disagreeing response. No "fence-sitting"!!

with one of the topics i fully agree, but with a completely different topic i cant agree with because i feel that the journalist was too vague when he wrote it.

  • English 11 - ,

So ... to point up the vagueness, what will you do?

  • English 11 - ,

do i say why i think it is vague?

  • English 11 - ,

or explain what he could have done so that it would have been more clear?

  • English 11 - ,

I would ask questions, very pointed questions that point out what the author DIDN'T write. Those omitted details and/or facts are what make it all vague.

    Ask lots of questions!!

    okay thank you.
