**Reiny**, Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 8:35amI think you have a typo and meant to say "One day we decided to dive from town A to town D" , or else why would you drive from A to B and then to C to get from A to B.

I also assume that the town are along the same road.

Let BC = x

then AB = x+10

CD = x-10

x+10 + x + x-10 = 330

3x = 330

x =110

AB = 120
