x^3+2x^2+4/x^3+8

(x^3+2x^2+4)/(x^3+8)

then

= (x+2)(x+2)/( (x+2)(x^2 - 2x + 4)

= (x+2)/)x^2 - 2x+4) , x ≠ -2
