bhagat has rs.150 in his piggy bank and plans to add rs.2 each week.Laxmi has rs.200 in her piggy bank and plans to add rs.6 each week.After how many weeks will laxmi have twice as much money as bhagat?

If x weeks have passed, we want to find when

2(150 + 2x) = 200 + 6x
x = 50

check:

150 + 2(50) = 250
200 + 6(50) = 500 = 2*250
