It's possible. However -- the big problem is finding a company that will publish it. Most authors send their manuscripts to a lot of different publishers -- and all of them turn them down. These publishers believe that too few people will want to buy the book.
Remember, it costs companies a great deal of money to publish a book. The only way they make money is to sell thousands of copies of the book.

I'm just making sure if I can self-publish it first then after a while I decide to publish it so like you said it's possible.
I know a few publisher companies. I can easily find out by going to the one the author's publish.
