W = Width
The perimeter of a rectangle
P = 2 L + 2 W
In this case W = 2 m
P = 34 m
34 = 2 L + 2 * 2
34 = 2 L + 4 Subtract 4 for both sides
34 - 4 = 2 L + 4 - 4
30 = 2 L Divide both sides by 2
15 = L
L = 15 m
