change time to seconds. Then seconds to hours.
change mile to km.
avgspeed=distance/time=1mile/(2min35sec) or
= 1mile/(2min+35sec)*1min/60sec=
=1mile/(2*60+35)sec*3600sec/hr
=1mile*1.609 Km/mile
= 1.609km/155sec*3600sec/hr
=about less than 40km/hr.
