complementary angles add up to 90°
so if the smaller is x
then the other angle is 90-x
x = 90-x - 40
2x = 50
x = 25
so smaller is 25° and the larger is 90-25 = 64°
check: is 25 less than 65 by 40 ? YEAHHHH!
